  • Project Overview.
For Comic Con, I collaborated with the Nintendo team to design a fully branded, interactive exhibition space. We created an immersive fan environment built around the idea of “Nintendo at Home” — a series of life-sized themed rooms where fans could play Nintendo Switch in different modes: handheld, docked to TV, and with Joy-Cons. From a real car to stylized interiors, every space was designed to surprise and engage.
  • Design Focus.
The challenge was to translate cinematic key art into a clean, striking journal cover - one that respected Nintendo's strict brand standards while delivering a strong fan-forward visual. My focus was on:
    • Balancing official art with editorial hierarchy.
    • Applying typography that complemented the sci-fi tone.
    • Adhering to Nintendo’s asset usage rules, safety zones, and print specifications.
    • Preparing the file for flawless production and print.
  • Concept & Design Direction.
The booth was imagined as a walk-through house where every room offered a new experience with the Nintendo Switch. The design emphasized comfort, color, and interaction — from soft home-like lighting to hands-on demos with upcoming titles.
One of the key moments was a real car installation where visitors could sit and play, reinforcing the Switch’s portability. Every detail was crafted to bring Nintendo’s joyful spirit into a real-life space.
